My Books About Greece

I've written three books about Greece, all in Norwegian (but if any foreign publisher feel tempted to translate them - feel welcome!).

Min Greske Taverna, mat og mennesker i Eleftheres, published autumn 2009, is a book with stories and recipes from our restaurant.

Paradiso, a report from a Greek village is the account of how it all started.

Or sort of. Because like any author I lie for the sake of a good story - and that´s why I didn´t dare calling the village in the book Eleftheres, but named it Paradiso instead. It resembles Eleftheres, but not quite..

You can download the two first chapters of Paradiso in English here.

The first book I wrote about Greece is called Hellas - maten, folket, høytidene, året rundt - it answers all your questions about Greek traditions, customs and food!

The book is sold out from the publisher (and I only have one filthy, olive oil stained copy myself).

Buy Paradiso or Min Greske Taverna directly from the publishing house Frifant here.
