"I was blessed to have hotten to come here, to this lovely Bed&Breakfast, to this charming town. If you´re here now, you already know how great Tove and Christos are. Welcoming and friendly, open, non-pretentious, loving people. Tove with er delicious meals and Christos with his outstanding tsipouro. Interacting with the interesting characters of Eleftheres as well as with other travelers from other countries was another gift. This has been an experience of the REAL Greece, from beaches to caves, chickens to dogs, cafes to mudbaths, markets to music, kittens to flowers, bright starry nights to incredible sunrises...I´ll be forever grateful for these incredible two weeks." Lesley Harrow, USA/Mexico
"Thank you so much for allowing us to come to your beautiful home and share a part of the splendors that is around you. We enjoyed the beaches, the history and the views, but most of all the dinner and the balcony! Your cooking is fabulous! We look forward to coming back again! "Thank you for the lovely time we spent here! It was really nice to stay in this spacious, beautiful apartment, see the sun rise in the morning and enjoy the lovely views of the landscape and Thassos. We had a wonderful warm week at the amazing Ammolofos beach, which was almost deserted, even if the air had 28 C and the sea 25C! The kids loved the shallow water and the sand and played there for hours. The second week we saw the breathtaking Nestos valley and walked above the river and the train - it is really worth to go there! We visited the Alistrati caves, which was what the kids liked best the whole vacation and hiked up in Mesoropi and around the village. I even took a mud bath in Lydia! We are heading back to cold Berlin, but we take some sun with us to take us through the winter." Miriam, Thorsten, Milan (4) and Joran (7), Germany
We
enjoyed a very relaxing week with very good food. We have explored the
cool shady walks of the Kavala area, as well as the beautiful
countryside.

This
place was perfect for our family. Having a place for the kids to be
able to play outside and still be close to us. The restaurant was a
highlight. Great Greek food, enjoyable discussions and chats about
cultures, countries and languages. We found our villa comfortable and
completely a joy.

Our
brief stay was like a taste of heaven for weary travellers, thanks to
your beautiful home and gracious hospitality. May God bless you, Tove
and Christos!

Forget about Athens and Thessaloniki with their pollution, traffic and noise. The true heartbeat of Greece is here in Eleftheres.
My patio, nestled under the rocky coastal mountain range overlooks Nea Peramos, located on an azure bay of the Aegean Sea.
My hosts, Tove and Christo, take the time to make me feel comfortable and ply me with home cooked meals of pure ingredients served at the "taverna" not 20 meters from my door.
A short walk up the hill, friendly villagers
sit under the shade of ripening grapevines for a sip of Greek coffee.
They offer me a free welcoming cup and a glass of pure mountain water.
This is true "filoxenia", love of strangers.
A ten minute local bus ride brings me to fine sand beaches, and warm,
clear, placid water for swimming. The shoreis lined with fine seafood
restaurants serving local fish varieties.
I sleep on a comfortable mattress (the first for me in years of travel in Greece) in a silence only broken by the songs of birds after sunrise.
My flight leaves far too soon.
Ion Michaelides, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico
I have recommended you to many friends
and tell them what a genial place this is for families! Especially
because you have animals and because you can have good food at your
taverna, while the children are nearby. Hopefully we´ll be able to come
back with friends!

With too many days traveling at work and a stressful every day life it was fantastic to find this jewel in Greece. Nice hosts, good food, and finally, peace and quiet.
Terje Bringedal, Oslo, Norway
I
wish I could take the sounds, the smells and the whole village home
with me. The view from the balcony´s what I had imagined after reading a
fairytale. Of all the beautiful things I have seen in Greece this place is what I treasure the most. Tove and Christos and their boys are wonderful hosts.
I will be back and I will recommend everyone I meet to come and stay.
I´ve had a lovely time and am so grateful to have found this place.

Many
thanks for your wonderful hospitality. Sue and I had a wonderful time
at Eleftheres and we did appreciate your information, hospitality and
cooking. The moussaka was a winner in the food stakes by a long margin.
The best food in our travels! To Tove - many thanks for sharing your vast knowledge and answering our many questions.
To Christos - many thanks for your help and hospitality.
Sue&Peter Bullen, New Zealand.
A place for dreams, that brings you closer to the stars.
We will absolutely be back.

Thanks for the hospitality and beautiful days in your home of Kairos Garden.

Beautiful
area, perfect nights, friendly people, awesome food, great places to
see. We loved exploring and going to see the Aggitis cave. Tove and Christos are super nice.
Tove let us have a couple of chicken eggs from her chicken coop and let
us use her cards. That made it even more special than ever. I can
definitely see myself coming back here again.
Thank you so much for everything.

I
will miss this place so much. I will miss the food most, but I will
also miss Tove and everybody that helped out when I was here.
Thank you, from Taiya (9), Groton NY, USA.
Loved the garden vegetables in our Greek salad, loved the quiet evenings
and the view to the vineyards below. Loved the quiet village with its
friendly faces and walking to the bakery for warm bread. My favorite
beach was Iraklitsa. On our beach tours we found octapus swimming
beneath the castle in Kavala. We found heaven in Kairos Garden!
Athena Kalandros, Groton NY, USA
A great place to visit.
Went to many of the beaches and drove through the vineyards, explored
Kavala, visited the cave of Aggitis. Tove and Christos are wonderful
hosts - great food! Hope to return for another visit in the future.

One week went fast and we are returning to Norway. We´ve had a stay full of experiences. The food has been excellent and we look forward to your cook book comes out. Thanks a lot for a nice stay.

Tove,
may you have love that never ends. Lots of money, lots of friends.
Health be yours whatever you do. And may God send many rainbows to you.
Thank you for our stay. Love and blessings.Greg and Lee, New Zealand
"Oh, what a beautiful morning", I sang opening my window, the first morning at Villa Kalypso.
In front of my eyes opened a panorama of 180 degrees as far as the eye could see.
First
the smell of jasmine from the climbing plant around my window.
Christos, our host, was weeding his herbal and vegetable garden, giving a
smell of oregano and basil. For miles green vines that were partly
covered in plastic to protect the young buds. Kiwi and olive trees I
could also see.
The birds were twittering and a few dogs were having a
barking competition. Further away some peaks reminding me of
Aphrodite´s tits in Mykonos. And then in the distance the sea was
glittering, a little hazy so early in the morning. At the horizon the
island of Thasos, just a contour behind a veil of mist. A few terracotta
tiled roofs here and there with a church cupola. Behind me the taller
mountains and the road to Bulgaria.

We are a group of seven seminarians and priests of The Society of Our Holy Lady of the most Holy Trinity, living in the Eternal City of Rome and on an Easter break traveling in the footsteps of Saint Paul. This is where his and our journey begin.
This has certainly been a fantastic experience, staying here has been perfect for us all.
After a 15 hours ferry ride and seven hours drive from Igoumenitsa Kairos Garden was an oasis - so relaxing and tranquil. And it must be said, superb hospitality. We hope to be able to come back soon. The Blessings of the Risen Lord be upon this household and family!

We had a fantastic
9 day holiday here - and would like to thank Tove, Christos, Jason and
Alexandros so much for their hospitality and help. Traveling with 3
young children are never easy, but this was a great set up for us. The
apartment was just perfect with lots of play space and three bedrooms.
We
visited lots of great places: Highlights were the birds sanctuary where
we were treated to a great show and opportunities to get in close
contact with hawks, falcons and owls. The waterfall of Dolmata north of
Paranesti was half frozen and absolutely spectacular. Our kids loved
climbing and playing at Philippi and ruins of Thasos and the castle of Kavala.
The
weather was either very cold or raining, but we still managed to do
plenty. Thanks so much to Tove for her patience, helpfulness and
excellent advice and information.
We had a terrific, memorable family holidays.
Lots of love from all of us.

Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will see you again! Love, Rosemary, Canada
The
weather has been a bit on the cool side, but at least it didn´t rain
and today the sun came out an really warmed a frozen Norwegian body.
Thank you Tove for excellent information and insight into the
sites. I have seen a lot and everything has been worthwhile. The week
should have been longer. Thank you to the whole family for being
outgoing, helpful and friendly! I take your smiles with me to Norway!
Marianne, Norway
Thanks for another fantastic holidays! It´s never
boring to be with you, Tove. It´s exciting and inspiring to follow the
development of Kairos Garden. See you soon again and thank you so much
for this time!

Checking out Eleftheres. We had read about Kairos Garden on the internet and were NOT disappointed! Fantastic beautiful place and very friendly hosts!
We want to sit on this balcony and enjoy the view next year, too.
We will be back!
Ardis and Jenny, Norway
Thank you Tove and Christos for a lovely holiday!
Your villa is so comfortable and we really felt at home. This is a beautiful part of Greece and we have enjoyed the stunning view from the balconies.
We have also really enjoyed our delicious meals in your taverna - we have felt very welcome throughout our stay.
Visitors - we strongly recommend you to go to the beach of Ammolofos! The sand is so fine and the sea is so clear - feels like Paradise. A 45 minutes walk from Peramos, but worth the effort.
We hope to see you all again, many thanks!
Best wishes,
Adrian and Elaine, England.
