Thank you Tove and Christos for a lovely holiday! Your villa is so comfortable, we really felt at home. We have enjoyed the delicious meals in your taverna and felt very welcome throughout our stay.

The villas and restaurant are surrounded by a huge garden of 3000 square meters, which includes a tiny vineyard with Merlot grapes, a playground, a vegetable garden and a chicken shed and yard.
We got Wi-Fi, but NO television!
We are quietly situated on the outskirt of the village of Eleftheres, a few minutes stroll from the bakery, grocery stores, butcher, coffee shops, pharmacy and bus stop, and forty minutes from the airport of Kavala.
Villa Kalypso is also our family home. My husband Christos and I and our two boys live on the ground floor of the villa while we rent out the rooms upstairs to guests.
In Greek mythology Kalypso was the nymph who saved Odysseus from shipwrecking when he was trying to get home after the Trojan war. She took great care of him, fed him the most wonderful food and wine, and made sure he had a great time on her island. When he wanted to leave to get back to his beloved home at Ithaka she helped him off.
Villa Lotus is named after the land of the Lotus-eaters, where Odysseus and his sailors also spend some good time.
