The Greeks have two terms for time: Cronos, which is used about the restricted time, the time ruled by hours and minutes, by appointments and schedules. Then there is Kairos, which is when time and destiny meet. Cronos is quantitative, while Kairos is quality time.

The daemon Kairos, youngest son of Zeus, is pictured with wings on his feet and back as a symbol of transitoriness and with a long lock of hair so that you have a chance to grab him.

Here is no rush. No satellite television, internet or telephones. Go for a stroll, sit on the terrace or in the garden with a book, enjoy a good meal and a glass of local wine in our family restaurant, which is situated in the garden. Take it easy. Kairos is time to be you.
