Olive Oil Bread Dip

The olive oil bread dip is a really good example of the simplicity of the Greek kitchen. Actually, a meal inGreece sometimes consists only of bread that you dip in oil!

However, we usually use this as a starter, together with other mezedakia.

All you need is slices of white bread, that should be grilled and served warm, a small bowl of good quality olive oil pr. person, salt and oregano. The oregano can be sprinkled onto the bread or into the bowl, whatever you prefer.

Break and dip!
