Virgin Mary ApparitionAn Icon of Virgin Mary that smells and cries
Do you believe in Virgin Mary apparition? While on holidays in Greece you'll soon find that Greeks have strong faith . But an icon that smells and cries? Is it a miracle? Or don't you believe that miracle happens? Family dinner the other night, and one of the cousins tells about how she recently visited a private home in Xanthi, where there is an icon of Holy Virgin Mary that smells. That means, she explained me, that there comes a perfumed smell from the icon, which no one can explain as anything but a miracle. Katherina visited together with two friends, and she said they where struck by the intense smell from the icon as soon as they entered the room where the ordinary cartoon icon, which has been covered in plastic, hangs on the wall. And while they where there, they even spotted tiny tears coming from the eyes of Our Holy Lady. The owner explained it was the thirteen time in all the years that she's had the icon that she saw Virgin Mary cry and all of them were convinced that this was a Virgin Mary apparition. "No problem," cousin Christos said. "It's just to fill some perfume in a syringe and give the icon a shot. All these so-called miracles are just the priests trying to make money!" "But why would an ordinary woman want to fool me?" Katherina asked. "To feel special! It's all fake and cheating!" Christos insisted. To believe or not to believe...But life is absolutely more fun when miracles can happen!
